A divorce-seeking wife has accused her husband of employing an Islamic preacher to have s3x with her for money-making ritual purposes.

The woman, Musilimotu Olashuyi, 48, claimed that she introduced her husband, Gbenga Olashuyi, 55, to the unnamed Alfa because she used to frequent his mosque for prayers.

She said at some point, the Alfa noticed that Olashuyi’s business wasn’t going well, a situation that made her introduce the Alfa to him.

However, Musilimotu said, the Alfa ended up committing adultery with her, allegedly on the instruction of her husband.

She made the allegations at the Igando Customary Court in Lagos on Wednesday.

“It was with my husband’s consent that the Alfa slept with me for three days,’’ Musilimotu disclosed while praying the court to dissolve the marriage.

She alleged that her husband had also conspired with the Alfa to use her for money ritual.

She narrated to the court, “Actually, my husband got to know the Alfa through me because I always go to his mosque to pray.

“When he told me that my husband’s business was not moving fine, I brought him home to meet my husband.

“Before I knew what was happening, my husband had conspired with him to use me for money ritual. It was with my husband’s consent that the Alfa slept with me for three days.

“After the incident, I started getting sick and getting emaciated and I told the people around me what happened, which led to the arrest of the Alfa; but my husband ran away.

“Gbenga resurfaced at the station after the Alfa brought a remedy to cure me.”

Musilimotu alleged further that Gbenga had refused to repay a loan she collected on his behalf in which she stood as the guarantor.

She said that Gbenga packed out her belonging from his house last October and stole N1m belonging to her.

Musilimotu pleaded with the court to terminate the union, saying that she was no longer in love with Gbenga after four years of marriage.

But Gbenga told the court that it was Musilimotu who lured him to buy the coffin for the money ritual to turn their fortunes around.

“My wife and her concubine persuaded me to buy a coffin for money ritual and she brought the Alfa to the house,” Gbenga said.

He added that the cleric had told him that God revealed to him that his business was collapsing and that he would make some rituals for him.

“I agreed to make the ritual because truly, my business was not moving well. Since that day, my wife has been coming home with the Alfa and with different objects and concoctions for me to drink and have my bath with.

“Later, Alfa asked me to bring N800,000 to buy some items for another ritual. He also told me to buy a casket for money ritual, which I will put in a separate room where nobody will enter except me.

“My wife begged me to comply with Alfa’s request, but I declined,” Gbenga claimed.

The businessman accused his wife of infidelity, alleging that Alfa always made love to Musilimotu on their matrimonial bed.

He said he knew about the adulterous relationship when his wife had Alfa arrested and accused the cleric of using charms to rape her.

“The cleric told the police that he did not hypnotise my wife to rape her, saying that it was with her consent that he made love to her on those three occasions,” Gbenga said.

Gbenga confessed that he packed Musilimotu’s belongings out of his house.

He also pleaded with the court to dissolve the marriage, saying that he was no longer interested in the relationship.

The President of the court, Mr Akin Akinniyi, however, advised the couple to maintain the peace while he adjourned the case until March 22 for judgment.

Two Nigerians who operated a London-based cyber crime group have been jailed after reportedly stealing more than £1m.
Emmanuel Mmaduike and Olawale Kashimawo, both 31, obtained thousands of business email addresses and passwords which they used to divert payments from companies to themselves, according to the UK National Crime Agency.
They were said to have operated from south-east London and spent the money on “a lavish lifestyle”.
Sky News reports that they hired a helicopter, drove “flash cars”, and “posed for photographs of themselves with wads of money, expensive watches and drinking champagne”.
Known as business email compromise (BEC), the operation involves the criminal impersonation of a senior executive and attempting to convince the victim to transfer funds.
Mmaduike was said to have played the role of accessing the victim’s email accounts and change invoices so that payments were directed to mule bank accounts run by Kashimawo.
His collaborator then laundered the cash by arranging withdrawals and international bank transfers which were carried out by other fraudsters.
The pair are believed to have carried out more than £1m of fraud and money laundering between April 2015 and November 2015, according to the NCA.
Mmaduike was jailed in March 2017 for six years and 10 months after he admitted money laundering and fraud.
He also admitted perverting the course of justice in relation to a sham marriage to a Dutch national.
Kashimawo was also jailed for six years and nine months after admitting two counts of conspiracy to commit money laundering.
Similar arrests have been made in Nigeria, one of the most recent being the six suspects arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Abuja.

The police in Delta state have arrested 55-year-old clergyman, Prophet Moses Urovbu of the God Revival Prayer Ministry, based in Ughelli, Delta state, for chaining and beating to death a 30-year-old man, Monday Edjedjere, brought to his church in search of healing for his mental ailment.
According to The Sun, the prophet had placed the deceased on seven days dry fast, that is, fasting without food or water. Edjedjere was chained to a coconut tree at the back of the church during the duration of the dry fast and was constantly beaten with a holy water cane till he became too weak and died on April 2nd.
Narrating what happened, the State Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Mustapha said on March 28th, the victim, Monday Edjedjere was taken to Prophet Urovbu for prayer and healing by his mother.
According to him the church General Overseer billed the troubled mother N24,000, out of which she was able to pay N8,000 and thereafter returned to her Awsha community home leaving her son in the care of Prophet Urovbu. He further added her return to the church three days after, precisely on March 30th the woman met her son chained to a coconut tree with injuries all over his body.
When asked what transpired him and the deceased, the clergyman said
”I am the General Overseer of God Revival Prayer Ministry. I started my ministry in 1989. I have a large congregation spread across four branches of my church in Warri, Ughelli, Ewu, and Bayelsa State. I do pray for all kinds of people who are sick in my church. It was the mother of the deceased that brought him to my church because he was suffering from madness. I admitted him for prayers and billed them N24, 000 and the mother paid just N8, 000. I put the deceased on seven days dry fast. He started proving stubborn and broke the church plastic chairs. As a result, my pastors joined me and we chained him to a tree at the back of the church. The injuries on his body were sustained while flogging him with holy water cane so that he can be healed. It was when the mother discovered the condition of her son was not improving that she said I should release him to them. I refused because I can handle the situation. Unfortunately, the boy fell down, collapsed and died. On that fateful day, I still discharged five people who had similar sickness and I healed them and they are right in their houses now.”
The brother of the deceased, Michael Edjedjere, reported the matter to the police immediately it was discovered that his brother had died.
”When my mother told me about the critical condition of my brother, Monday, I felt bad especially when I heard he was chained by Prophet Moses. I called Prophet Moses on phone and told him that he should release my brother to me to take him to the hospital. But the prophet refused, boasting that he will heal him. It was two days later, my mother called me that my brother is dead. I didn’t believe it. I quickly rushed to Ughelli Police Station to report the case and that was how he was arrested.” Michael said
Confirming the arrest, the deputy commissioner of Police, State Criminal Investigation Department, Asaba, Wale Abbas said “Prophet Moses Urovbu is in our custody. He was alleged to have chained and beaten a sick man to death during deliverance. The corpse of the deceased, Monday Edjedjere has already been deposited at Central Hospital mortuary, Ughelli.”

IMAGINE getting beaten for failing to say “thank you” after sex!
Wonder no more, a man from Gokwe would reportedly run berserk and assault his wife whenever she failed to thank him every time they had sex.
While beating her, he would be accusing her of being ungrateful by failing to acknowledge and appreciate his bedmatics or the extra effort he would have apparently put during love making. This emerged before Chief Nemangwe’s traditional court where Tichaona Moyo was being accused by his wife Alleta Chipangu of sexually abusing her. Although Chief Nemangwe whose jurisdiction Moyo’s area falls under was not available for comment, a source who claims to have intimate details of the incident, said Moyo told the gathering that being thanked after sex was an expression of gratitude and acknowledgment that he was good in bed.
He said he wanted to be thanked since his wife was always regretting why she married him while accusing him of being sexually impotent adding that being thanked after sex was testimony that he was satisfying her. Chipangu said her husband would also abuse her in various ways, including forcing her to suck his manhood.
She said sometimes she refused to thank her husband after sex as she found it awkward.
Said the source: “She said she found that weird as it makes it seem transactional. She further said it also makes it sound like it’s something she has done for him, and not something she has done because she wanted to.”
In defence Moyo said being thanked after love making was magic that works wonders on his level of intimacy.
Moyo reportedly told the court that the words “thank you” boost his confidence, and make him keep coming back for more rounds.
“Men like to know they are appreciated. Even in bed. To me, being thanked after sex is just a sign that I’m good in bed. I love my wife and I appreciate her a lot, that is why I also want her to appreciate me by saying ‘thank you’ after sex,” Moyo was quoted as having said.
He reportedly maintained that he really wanted his wife to show him that he was good in bed as he always put extra effort during sex.
