First Bank of Nigeria Limited says it is partnering the Nigerian Economic Summit Group to have the 25th Nigerian Economic Summit.
The bank in a statement on Friday said the partnership lined up with its proceeded with commitment to making an empowering domain and open doors for the advancement of supportable development and improvement of the Nigerian economy.
It said the Silver Jubilee edition of the summit is themed ‘Nigeria 2050: Shifting Gears’ and booked to in October at Abuja, where the Chairman, First Bank of Nigeria Limited, Mrs Ibukun Awosika, would talk on gender empowerment at the plenary.
The bank portrayed the economic summit as a first solid stage for open private exchange, which empowers policy makers and influencers to think on issues, proffer policy arrangements.
It said the summit was a stage to increase a superior comprehension of the national economic policy bearing and development procedures.
As per the statement, a portion of the national leaders charged to go to the event incorporate President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; and Minister for Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs Zainab Ahmed.
Others are President of the Senate, Senator Ahmad Lawan; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila; and Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, Mrs Amina Mohammed.
