‘You are as beautiful as the day I met you’— Osinbajo eulogises wife on 51st birthday

Published

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo never fails to show how romantic he is when it comes to showering praises on Dolapo, his wife.
Osinbajo and Dolapo have often displayed affection in public, leaving no doubt that they dote on each other.
In what seems to be an annual ritual, Osinbajo took to Twitter on Sunday to pen down beautiful words about Dolapo.
The number two citizen of Nigeria described his wife as “queen of my heart”.
Osinbajo said Dolapo has defiled the ageing effect of time, adding that she is as beautiful as the day he met her.
“I found a girl, beautiful and sweet many years ago. I got to know you and you became queen of my heart,” Osinbajo wrote.
“You are my past, my present and my future. You complete me!
“You are as beautiful as the day I met you.
“Happy birthday Oludolapo, your heart is my home.”

On the occasion of her golden jubilee, the vice-president also took to his official Twitter handle to pen down an emotional note for his wife.
“My gift from God, watching over me, my support, at my side, my wings, my wife. Happy birthday, Oludolapo. You are my treasure,” he had written.
The lovebirds have been married for 29 years and are blessed with three children.

Five Benefits Of Being Left-handed

Five Benefits Of Being Left-handed

Happy Left-handed day to the lefties in the house!

No doubt, being left-handed is unique. So let’s look at five benefits of being left-handed.

1. They have higher odds of being a genius

Researchers aren’t sure why lefties have a better chance at being highly intelligent but some experts think that this may be because lefties are forced to use both sides of their brain more often. How difficult!

2. Athletes have a better advantage

This is especially true in sports like boxing, baseball and tennis. Opponents don’t face left-handed competition often but when they do, it can throw them through a loop. Did you know that Manny Pacquiao is one of the great boxers of all time because his southpaw approach is so hard to defend.

3. They can multitask better

This is another area where researchers aren’t quite sure why, but lefties are better at managing multiple tasks. That could also be due to the fact that they use both sides of their brain. I don’t know but that sounds stressful!

4. They’re amazingly creative

Research has shown that lefties are more likely to make the creative arts a career. So, to those left-handed artists, we deeply appreciate you all for making the world a more aesthetical place to inhabit!

5. They even earn more money

They certainly are really productive. The National Bureau of Economic Research shows that left-handed college grads earn 10-15 per cent more money.

Now imagine a world without lefties. A standing ovation for them all, please!

Secrets a man should know if he wants to be romantic

I normally see guys with stunningly beautiful girls and I ask myself, “what is their secret?” it is obvious, these guys are romantic. Then another question pops up, how do you become romantic? Check out the following, it is where the answer lies:

Up your “vibe game”

You need be this kind of a guy who has a nice tongue, a person who knows what to tell a woman. Through your language, you can make her feel special and as you continue to talk bringing out the princess she is. Balance your speech by telling her what she enjoys to hear, be good and at times be dirty depending on her. Don’t sound like a pervert or like you are desperate, then you will be this romantic guy every girl wants, it is just that simple.

Be fancy

There are these small things that make a huge difference in our lives. It is not a must for you to be rich to get a sweet-scented perfume for your girl. It will not cost you a fortune to take your girl out on a date. These little common things but very “uncommon” to many of us is what that will make you stand out as a romantic guy.

Be fun to have around

Be this guy whom she doesn’t want to let you get to work. Being fun means that you make her smile, she is always happy when you are around and your absence makes her think of when you will be back home. Have you ever noticed that it is men who like putting on “sura ya kazi?” (stone face). This is a turn-off, wear a smile, take it easy and have fun. This is what romantic guys do.

READ: 5 Things To Do Before Getting Married

Published

on

Building an amazing life for yourself and making the most of every opportunity presented to you is an excellent way to make sure you are ready to get married.

Being married is a wonderful and fulfilling path for your life, but it’s essential to realize that once you’ve gotten married, your life is not necessarily about your wants and needs anymore. Once you tie the knot, you have to start thinking in terms of “we” instead of “I,” meaning that you may not have the opportunity to do all the things you’ve always dreamed of doing.

Before getting married, make sure you’ve done some things for yourself. Start with these great, exciting adventures like things to do before getting married!

1. Travel
A change of scenery can do wonders in changing your perspective. You don’t have to go to some exotic, faraway locale; hop the state line and see someplace new, if only for a day or two. You’ll come back feeling refreshed and renewed by your new experiences and feeling of freedom.

2. Holiday Tryst
The holiday season is a great time for a bit of a fling, but you’d probably better get this one out of the way before you find your future hubby. An intense and passionate holiday tryst can be a huge confidence booster and give you a taste of the wonder and joy of being single.

3. Live Alone
Before getting married, living alone is an essential part of your personal development. Living by yourself means being able to sing in the shower, walk around in your birthday suit and make decisions that only affect you. Living alone can be a huge step in discovering your true self, so make sure you’ve got a little single time under your belt before getting married.

3. Pick Up a Hobby
If there’s something you’ve always wanted to learn, there’s no better time than before getting married. No matter where your interests lie, you can find some kind of hobby to keep you busy and help you learn a few things. If you like reading, find a book club. If you’re more of a collector, check out numismatics or philately (coin and stamp collecting, respectively).

4. Date, Date, Date
Before getting married, it’s important to know that you’re ready for a serious relationship and willing to make a long-term relationship work. One of the most reliable ways to do that is to date several different people with different interests, personalities and qualities. This will help you be more aware of what you want (and don’t) in your marriage partner.
